At Sobol Law Group we primarily represent middle market businesses and governmental entities in the following sectors:

  • Construction
  • Gaming
  • Healthcare
  • Manufacturing
  • Automobile Dealerships
  • Paper
  • Beer and Liquor Distributors
  • Restaurant Groups
  • Retail Stores
  • Meat and Produce Distributors
  • State and Municipal Agencies

We also represent insurance companies, public companies, and selectively represent micro-cap businesses. Our involvement with our clients begins at various stages; however, we have maintained longstanding relationships with a large portion of our clients and are consulted on a daily basis regarding their decision-making.

Our attorneys work with employers to facilitate cordial relationships with employees, unions and government agencies, in an effort to prevent problems before they arise.  We are experienced in all aspects of union-related issues, including aggressively countering union organizing campaigns with pro-employer campaigns, winning National Labor Relations Act elections, negotiating collective bargaining agreements and union contracts, arbitrating grievances, and obtaining injunctions in response to strikes and picketing.  We also defend claims of unfair labor practices and serve as management counsel to Taft-Hartley pension funds.

Although we take a proactive, preventative approach to litigation, our attorneys are adept at defending employment discrimination, retaliation and wrongful discharge claims in the event they do arise.  We zealously represent the interests of employers during all stages of litigation, up to and including trial.  However, we emphasize reaching a resolution prior to that time by means of thorough investigation and steadfast negotiation.  We also assist in responding to government agency investigations of discrimination charges.
